Our team needs your support in the day-to-day finance and office administration operations in Cambodia. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Office Administration, you will assist with office activities, support staff, manage office resources, and help maintain a productive and efficient working environment. During the initial phase, you will receive on-the-job training and capacity development to become familiar with our office administration processes and progressively work independently. You will also contribute to other programmes and projects, as required and where capacity allows, in support of organisational priorities.
Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strengthening M&E Designs and Standardisation
Assist with administrative and legal tasks as they arise, including preparing legal documents and liaising with relevant government authorities.
Provide general administrative support for various HR processes, projects, and office administration
Carrying out various administrative tasks considering our procurement policy and other relevant policies including office supplies, travel arrangements, office maintenance, vehicle administration, and office contracts
Organise and manage reports, invoices, contracts, and financial files
Oversee and manage inventory and procurement processes to ensure that necessary resources are purchased within budget limits
Assist in organising office events, workshops, training sessions, meetings, annual health checks, and employee health and travel insurance.
Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures and perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Finance and Office Administration.
We are seeking a person who meets the following criteria:
Education and work experience
A graduate diploma, bachelor’s degree in Business/Office Administration, General Management or equivalent education
Desirable 1-2 years of work experience in the field of accounting, finance, office administration or a similar field
Desirable experience in dealing with government offices and other stakeholders
Hard skills
Solid IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, E-mail)
Knowledge of office administration skill and official letter in and out
Ability to collect, analyse and produce good-quality data, information and reports
Soft skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong Negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to build trust and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and a critical mindset
Adaptable, flexible, and service-oriented, with a passion for supporting others.
Language skills
Proficient Khmer and intermediate English skills
Other requirements
A strong interest in working for an NGO to improve quality leader and specialist in Cambodia.
Demonstrate and uphold all Child’s Dream values, consistently applying the required behaviours in day-to-day work, interactions, and decision-making.
Travel to field locations is not a routine responsibility; however, occasional visits may be required to support field operations and team activities.
A valid Driver’s license.
